Partner Brian Cohen Delivers Keynote Address at Yom HaShoah Program at Rockland County Courthouse
Lachtman Cohen & Belowich LLP is proud to share that Co-Managing Partner Brian Cohen delivered the keynote address at this year’s Yom HaShoah program at the Rockland County Courthouse.
Hosted by the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education in partnership with the Justice Brandeis Law Society of the 9th Judicial District, the program brought together members of the bench, bar, and broader community to reflect on the enduring lessons of the Holocaust and their relevance today. The event drew hundreds of attendees, including members of the judiciary, legal professionals, and community leaders.
In his keynote, titled “The Truth Matters: The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth,” Brian emphasized the critical role of truth and the rule of law in safeguarding a just society. Drawing on historical lessons and contemporary challenges, he highlighted the responsibility of legal institutions—and those within them—to confront hatred, preserve truth, and uphold the principles that protect fundamental rights.
The program served as a powerful reminder of the importance of vigilance, remembrance, and the continued commitment to justice.
