Stephan A. Rapaglia is a highly experienced transactional lawyer and has represented clients in all aspects of commercial real estate. He has handled hundreds of commercial leases for landlords and tenants as well as numerous acquisitions, dispositions and financings of commercial properties. 

In addition to his extensive real estate practice, given his former role as an in-house attorney with a broad set of responsibilities, Stephan handled a wide variety of business contracts.

Stephan takes pride in serving clients in a highly efficient and responsive manner, while providing practical and sophisticated legal representation.

Stephan spent 15 years as an in-house attorney for Urstadt Biddle Properties (UBP), a NYSE-listed real estate investment trust, assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer for the last 10 years of his tenure. Prior to his time at UBP, Stephan was an attorney at Coudert Brothers LLP and Baker McKenzie in New York City. In 2005, while at Baker McKenzie, Stephan was recognized for his pro bono services.

Stephan has extensive playing and coaching experience in collegiate, professional and international baseball and, in his spare time, he has remained involved with high levels of international baseball. As manager of Great Britain National Team, Stephan won a silver medal at the 2007 European Championships, and he was inducted into the British Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022. Stephan has also used his coaching experience to serve his community, having volunteered as both a youth baseball coach and youth basketball coach.

Stephan received his Juris Doctor from Pace Law School, where he served as an editor of the Pace International Law Review, a Master of Arts from Manhattanville College and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College. He is admitted to practice before the court of the State of New York.
